This is what a $50,000 KOI POND
looks like!
Probably one of the most unique stories behind it as well! POND HAS PET DUCKS!

In the video: Paul Cuffaro (couple hundred thousand subscribers) visiting ponds with Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy. They have great things to say about Steve Sandalis of Mystic Water Gardens and his legendary pond creations...
A Couple Ducks make for an Interesting Story
One epic thing about this pond: two ducks come every day from 9:30 in the morning to 5 o'clock where they go to the neighbor's pool for a half hour and then they go somewhere else overnight.
Two Ponds Filled with Koi Fish
Steve's story goes like this: originally, the upper pond was meant for swimming, while the lower pond was dedicated to housing the fish. As fate would have it, the fish laid eggs that somehow navigated through the filter system and cascaded over the waterfall. One day, while enjoying a swim in the upper pond, Steve noticed fish and asked his son Stephan if he had placed them there. His response was a puzzled "No, Dad.".
It didn't take long for him to connect the dots. Those eggs that journeyed through the filter system ended up in the pond below the waterfall, resulting in the birth of baby fish. Fast forward four years, and these fish exhibit a stunning array of colors, thriving in the 5.5-foot deep pond. It's a testament to the surprising wonders that can unfold in a backyard oasis.
Backyard Koi Pond
Check out this amazing backyard scene! It's got a pond, a canal, a bridge, and a sweet little stream that connects to another pond. Ducks love to hang out here every day, adding to the charm. Plus, there's a neat sitting area to relax in.
As you stroll up the walkway, you'll find stepping stones that make up a DIY filter system with gravel to clean the water before it flows into the stream. And after four years, a small tree has sprouted from a fallen seed, showing you just how nature can surprise us over time. Enjoy the natural beauty right in your own backyard!
